From: Jenny.Lerew%bbs@quake.sylmar.ca.us (Jenny Lerew) Subject: Stimpy at Disney World Date: 10 Jan 93 21:27:17 GMT Here's an anecdote I thought the multitudes would enjoy: While on vacation in Florida a couple of weeks ago, John K. was touring the Disney animation facility( you know--the "fishbowl" where you see real live animators slogging it out in the trenches through windows). In the course of the walk-through there's a wall behind glass where famous animators (Chuck Jones, etc.) have left their signatures and drawings. Alerted to the fact that the creator of Ren & Stimpy was in their midst, Disney personnel asked John to commemorate his visit on the Wall. Result was a drawing of Stimpy tossing his cookies/hairballs, with an accompanying statement that is something like " I just saw a Disney film--and I can't contain my bodily fluids!"(this is not verbatim)... Apparently Disney brass subsequently called a meeting to decide if this would stay on the wall--and lo!--the decision was Yes! You've gotta hand it to *somebody* for that. Incidentally, this is a true story, related to me by John yesterday. --->>That's a really funny story, but I wonder how long the drawing will stay there, considering that Dickelodeon currently owns the rights to Ren & Stimpy?
