3/4 cup | brown sugar |
1 lb | confectioner's sugar |
1 stick | unsalted butter |
2 cups | peanut butter |
1 cup | unsalted peanuts, coarsely chopped (optional) |
12 oz | semisweet chocolate chips |
1 tbsp | unsalted butter |
Mix first five ingredients together. Pat into an ungreased jelly-roll pan, about 15"x10" and 1" deep. Flatten top with a rolling pin. Melt chocolate chips and 1 tbsp butter on low heat (over a double boiler, if desired). Spread chocolate on peanut butter mixture. Chill 15-20 minutes. Cut into 1" squares. Serve chilled.
