This story was written for a friend who was collecting 54-word stories. I obliged him.
He dropped the gun from his hand; it was shaking, but he couldn't remember why. He didn't even own a gun, did he? He didn't know the dead guy in front of him either. It was utterly baffling. These last, lost fifteen minutes of his life would forever remain a mystery.
I also wrote a 54-word copyright notice for the site.
