Strawberry Cobbler

Filling

4 cupswhole strawberries
4 tbspbutter, melted
1/4 cupsugar
1/2 tspsalt
1/4 cupwater
1 tbspcorn starch

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cover the bottom of a 7x12 pan with the butter. Distribute the strawberries evenly over the surface. Mix sugar and salt together, and sprinkle it over the berries. Mix the water and corn starch together, and pour it over the whole she-bang.

Crust

2 cupsflour
2 tspbaking powder
3/4 cupsugar
1/2 tspsalt
10 tbspbutter, melted
1/2 cupmilk
1egg

Combine the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Combine the wet ingredients in a different bowl. Mix the two together. The result should be a highly viscous dough. Distribute the dough evenly over the berries. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the crust is lightly browned and is internally dry (test with a fork or toothpick).
