|3/4 cup||brown sugar|
|1 lb||confectioner's sugar|
|1 stick||unsalted butter|
|2 cups||peanut butter|
|1 cup||unsalted peanuts, coarsely chopped (optional)|
|12 oz||semisweet chocolate chips|
|1 tbsp||unsalted butter|
Mix first five ingredients together. Pat into an ungreased jelly-roll pan, about 15"x10" and 1" deep. Flatten top with a rolling pin. Melt chocolate chips and 1 tbsp butter on low heat (over a double boiler, if desired). Spread chocolate on peanut butter mixture. Chill 15-20 minutes. Cut into 1" squares. Serve chilled.
